Finance, Investments etc?

Hi I am currently a Engineering Informatics student 20 years old living in Singapore.

Interested in the world of Investments, Stock tradings and also Assets management activities. I know that my current Engineering Informatics subject is nothing related to finance, but I am considering to pursue a Real Estate Management Degree after I graduate.

However, I can say that I seriously have no background of any Finance knowledge up till now and I’m worried that I will suffer when I get to university. And needless to say, the end of my plan for having a finance sector career. Am I on the right path?

Any thoughts, suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated especially those who have lots of experience in the financial sector.

There are lots of investment guides at the library. And The Motley Fool publishes advice at www.fool.com. They write columns for newspapers about investing.
Buy one stock for $100 so you can start understanding investments..
